Into the World of Baijiu is a cultural exploration series launched by Singapore China Baijiu Pte. Ltd.
Through a combination of on-site visits and storytelling, the program takes viewers deep into the origins, terroir, brewing techniques, and cultural history of Chinese baijiu.
Led by the IP guides Mr Baijiu Yun Weilong and Mr Baijiu Tianan, the series offers a full-spectrum journey—from landscapes and geography to the creation of a single drop of baijiu. It allows audiences to rediscover the true value and charm of baijiu through travel and observation.
Into the World of Baijiu | Zunyi Renhuai • Maotai Town EP2
In this episode, Tianan and Xiao Mao continue their journey into the world of baijiu in Maotai Town.
They cross the magnificent Huajiang Canyon Bridge, overlooking the grandeur of mountains and rivers. They visit the China Wine Culture City, where they encounter the “Wine God” and experience thousands of years of wine culture heritage. At the peak of Tianyan Scenic Area (Xishan Summit), they overlook the entire Maotai Town.
They then step into the Kweichow Moutai Distillery and visit Moutai Institute, as well as the iconic “World’s No.1 Bottle,” capturing memories of this wine journey. The trip concludes at the Moutai International Hotel.

Everyone has heard of Moutai—but standing on the land of Maotai Town reveals a completely different feeling.
Starting from the Guojiu Gate, one of the most symbolic entrances to China’s baijiu world, the journey continues along the Meijiu River, where cliff carvings and flowing water tell stories of the liquor town.
Crossing the Chishui River suspension bridge, the team experiences the local culture and atmosphere of the wine region. The episode ends at the Red Army Four Crossing Chishui Memorial Park, reflecting on a powerful chapter of history and heroism.
