Nanjing Impressions built its cornerstones on the heritage of the Nanjing’s culinary culture and its mission is to protect and expand this precious inheritance of natural flavours and time-tested recipes. The interior was impressive, designed like an olden tea house to give patrons a feeling of dining in old Nanjing. There is a doorman donning traditional Chinese costume to welcome dinners. Inside the dining hall, there are aged wooden pillars and hundreds of lanterns hung across the ceiling.
In addition, there is a small stage for live traditional Chinese music “Suzhou Pingtan” performance which is storytelling through singing with 3 stringed lutes and pipa.
MUST TRY: Check out their delicious dishes such as JingLing Signature Salted Duck, Poached “Lion’s Head” Meatball and Chilled Drunken Virgin Red Crayfish.
It is worth trying a different cuisine that isn’t easily found elsewhere on our little island.
