Chun Yang Dong

The “Chun Yang Dong” is one of the three natural liquor caves in Luzhou Laojiao, which is mentioned in a story about Lu Dongbin in one of the Chinese myths (figure 3). The cave is located at the intersection of the Yangtze river and the Tuojiang river, where the natural airflow and the water particles in the air make the air very suitable for liquor storage. To enter the cave, you need to put on a special clothing to avoid static electricity and electronic products are prohibited to avoid sparks. The wine jars in the cave are made of clay and are sealed tight with special paper. The jars are filled with 85 degrees of Yuan Jiao Jiu, its years and thickness of the bacterial wine are indicated on the jar. A name tag will be put on when the jar has been ordered by clients and among them are quite a number of famous celebrities as well.
