Singapore Botanic Garden
Established in 1859, the Singapore Botanic Gardens is the oldest garden in Singapore, 60 acres of land were transformed from a disused plantation into the popular recreational garden you see today.
Besides being a favourite recreational spot, a tourist attraction as well as a popular venue for jogging or just winding down by admiring the flowers in the park, the sprawling grounds are also a leading centre for botanical and horticultural research.
