Guizhou liquor global tour – Tasting and promotion conference in Singapore

On May 14, 2024, the “Guizhou Liquor Global Tour – Tasting and Promotion Conference” was grandly held in Singapore, hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce and co-organized by Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd. Renowned liquor companies such as Moutai, Xijiu, Zhenjiu, Guotai, and Guizhou Chun collectively showcased their products in the Lion City. The promotion event invited over 40 representatives from institutions including the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Singapore-China Business Association, Business China, and the CCPIT Representative Office in Singapore. Mr. Charles Oon, Managing Director of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, President of the Guizhou Business (Singapore) Pte Lt, and President of the Singapore China Baijiu Association, was also invited to attend.

In a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, participants freely exchanged ideas and discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economy, trade, and cultural tourism. Guizhou liquor experts introduced baijiu tasting techniques, enhancing everyone’s understanding and appreciation of Guizhou liquor.

The exquisite display of baijiu at the event attracted much attention, and the showcased traditional Miao costumes further allowed everyone to delve into the cultural charm of Guizhou. Guests enjoyed tasting the fine liquor, toasting and drinking together, sharing this beautiful moment, and deepening their friendships and cooperation.

Many participants engaged in lively exchanges in front of the baijiu exhibition booths, gaining in-depth knowledge of the characteristics and brewing techniques of different brands of baijiu. Guizhou liquor experts provided detailed explanations of the series of products and tasting techniques of Moutai and other famous Guizhou liquors.

This event promoted the expansion of Guizhou’s renowned baijiu in overseas markets, strengthened economic and trade exchanges and multilateral cooperation between Singapore and Guizhou, enhanced the brand awareness and market competitiveness of Guizhou baijiu, and contributed to the high-quality development of the Guizhou baijiu industry.

The “Guizhou Liquor Global Tour” helps Guizhou baijiu to reach new markets and expand internationally. On May 13, the “Guizhou Liquor Global Tour (Singapore Stop) – Moutai Night Welcome Banquet,” jointly organized by Guizhou Business (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, and Chinese Baijiu Association (Singapore), was grandly held at the Orchard Hotel in Singapore.

At the banquet, the presence of distinguished guests added endless excitement and splendor to this special evening. The speeches delivered by the guests on stage were undoubtedly the highlights and the opening acts of the entire banquet. Their profound words and insightful thoughts infused the event with a rich cultural atmosphere and intellectual exchange.

Singapore, as a country of diverse cultures, attracts guests from all over the world with its unique charm. To welcome our distinguished guests from Guizhou, we arranged an extraordinary performance – the traditional Malay dance, Joget. The graceful movements of the dancers and the deep cultural heritage brought the atmosphere to a climax, setting the perfect stage for the banquet. On this night filled with laughter and emotion, we enjoyed beautiful moments together, experiencing the fusion and inclusiveness of cultures. Besides the traditional Malay dance, Joget, we also arranged an impressive Indian dance performance. The elegant movements and passionate expressions of the dancers provided a splendid visual feast!

Another major highlight of the banquet was the presence of Moutai. Amidst laughter and joy, guests savored this fine liquor, engaging in conversations as they drank, pushing the atmosphere of the banquet to its peak. On May 9th, a delegation of leaders from Wuliangye visited the Wuliangye flagship store in Singapore to explore the brand’s international appeal.

After the visit to the Wuliangye flagship store in Singapore, the overseas tasting event and investor symposium that evening became an even more memorable occasion. At the banquet, Mr. Zhang Xin, Party Committee Member, Vice General Manager, and Board Secretary of Yibin Wuliangye Co., Ltd., shared with the guests the long history of Wuliangye. 2024 Mother’s Day Baking Event

On May 4th, Singapore China Baijiu Pte., Ltd. held a unique Mother’s Day parent-child baking event.

Under the theme of “Warm May, Grateful Mother’s Day”, 12 groups of parent-child pairs participated hand in hand, exploring the joy of baking together. Children demonstrated excellent hands-on skills and unique imagination, gaining a deeper understanding of their mothers’ efforts through such activities. The entire event was filled with innocent smiles from children and hopeful eyes from parents. Each parent-child duo decorated their handmade cakes with different embellishments: colorful candies, vibrant fruits, and frosting filled with blessings. These cakes were not only enthusiastic expressions but also heartfelt interpretations of maternal love and gratitude.

As powdered sugar flew, it wasn’t just the cakes taking shape, but also the sublimation of affection. Just as the event’s title sponsor, “Wuliangye”, has persevered through the years, adhering to the harmony and beauty of Chinese culture. Maternal love, like the fragrance of Wuliangye, is rich and profound. Just as every drop of baijiu carries the traces of time, a mother’s love permeates countless days and nights of care and dedication, forever emanating boundless warmth and strength.

Hey guys I’m here at the 4th China international Consumer Products Expo which is being held in Haikou the capital of south China’s Hainan Province.

The expo has provided excellent opportunities for global companies to explore the Chinese market and products. So we get to experience global cultures and styles here where innovation meets tradition in a dazzling showcase of products.

Again, this venue is super large. A lot of walking today as well. I am looking for a snack or something to give myself a treat.

Wow so this is the Moutai ice cream. It does have some Chinese liquor flavor in it.

This is the classic series of our brand, the Feitian Moutai. Next we can see a series of zodiac-themed liquors that Moutai has launched. It incorporates the culture of five elements and the twelve Chinese zodiac animals and integrates Chinese ink painting and calligraphy into the design. This year is ‘the Year of the Loong’ and this is the zodiac-themed liquor of ‘the Year of the Loong’. Loong represents nobleness, elegance and fortune.

‘Moutai Baijiu possesses a unique aroma and taste distinct from other Baijiu products. Moutai Baijiu users red tassels, sorghum, wheat and water as raw materials. It takes at least five years from the time the raw materials enter the factory to the time. The product is produced and needs 5 major techniques, 30 stages and 165 steps.

The 4th Singapore “Wuliangye Cup” Chuhan Chess Open Tournament

On April 20, the 4th Singapore “Wuliangye Cup” Chinese Chess Open Tournament successfully concluded. The tournament’s name is derived from China’s renowned liquor brand, Wuliangye, a company that has demonstrated outstanding support for traditional Chinese culture. Through sponsoring the chess competition, the Singapore-based China Liquor Company aims to promote Chinese culture worldwide.

Once the tournament was announced, over 40 players eagerly signed up. The event featured seven rounds of intense competition throughout the day, with each round serving as a battle of intelligence and strategy. Competitors showcased their Chinese chess skills and tactics, striving to stand out among a host of formidable opponents.

2024 Chinese New Year Banquet

On February 28th, 2024, the “祥龙迎嘉年 共创MEI未来” 2024 Chinese New Year Banquet hosted by Singapore China Baijiu at VOCO Orchard concluded successfully, with guests from all walks of life gathering together to celebrate the festival. The presence of distinguished guests from various sectors filled the venue with joy and harmony. Let us all enjoy this wonderful moment together and feel the joy and blessings of the New Year.

At the venue of this year’s Chinese New Year banquet, Singapore China Baijiu arranged a display of baijiu, showcasing various Moutai products, allowing everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the essence of the Moutai brand.

Other baijiu brands represented by Singapore China Baijiu were also showcased at the event. Additionally, a Moutai cocktail bar was set up to share the different possibilities of baijiu flavors. At the event, guests had the opportunity to delve into the charm of various Moutai series, and the specially crafted Moutai Mojito & Moutai Mimosa at the Moutai cocktail bar provided a unique experience of richness and surprise. May this event bring unforgettable tasting experiences to everyone and allow us to appreciate the charm and cultural heritage of Chinese baijiu together.

The banquet invited Mr. Zhou Yuyun, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, and Mr. Xiao Jianghua, Director of the China Cultural Center and the Tourism Office of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, to deliver speeches. In his remarks, Minister Counselor Zhou mentioned, “Baijiu, as a representative of Chinese liquor culture, has been involved in many touching stories of Chinese diplomacy. We also look forward to Mr. Yun’s use of liquor as a medium to catalyze a new chapter of Chinese-Singaporean friendship!” Singapore China Baijiu will continue to be a window for inheriting and showcasing traditional culture, building a bridge to convey new Chinese-Singaporean friendship.

During the banquet, guests were invited to offer their Chinese New Year blessings. With cheers of “ganbei” (bottoms up), the joy of the festival flowed through everyone’s hearts, intertwining with blessings to compose a beautiful prelude for the new year.

The banquet was filled with exciting activities. The LED dragon and lion dance kicked off the event in a spectacular manner, with dancers displaying graceful movements and exquisite skills, adding a festive touch. The appearance of God of Fortune holding golden ingots further heightened the excitement.
