In conjunction with the famed Mayor Class conceptualized by the Singapore & China governments, a dinner was organized by the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to welcome the visitors during orientation. The visitors are China officials ranging from county magistrates to vice mayors. Chinese Baijiu Association (Singapore) was invited for the bonding and networking process.

Ex-Minister Mr. Chan Soo Sen visited Mr Charles Oon in the Singapore Moutai Specialty Shop, congratulating his continuous effort in developing Moutai brand in Singapore for the past 7 years.
They have known each other since 2005. At the International Brand Submit Award 2005, Mr. Chan Soo Sen, who was the Minister of Education and Minister of State presented the International Brand Award 2005 to Mr. Charles Oon.
