[The 20th Meeting of the Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee] was held in Singapore on 4th September 2019. Enterprise Singapore, Sichuan Economic Cooperation Bureau and Chengdu High-tech Zone Management Committee signed an MOU to collaborate on pursuing new opportunities and establishments such as Sichuan Innovation Centre, Xinchuan enterprises and Singapore Innovation Centre. Mr Li Yunze, Sichuan Vice Governor (Fig 1, left) and Mr Ng Chee Meng, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office were toasting each other with a special cocktail created from the Sichuan baijiu which is well known around the world – Wuliangye.

During a dinner reception Wuliangye set up the Baijiu Cocktail Bar and the champion of the Sweet Aroma @ Lion City 2nd Annual China Baijiu Cocktail Competition 2019 – Mr Haran, presented his winning Wuliangye cocktail – Asam-jiu.
At dinner reception, there were exquisite Wuliangye bottles being displayed for the guests to appreciate the beauty of the renowned Wuliangye, the elegance of its appearance matches up to its rich aromatic flavour.
