The 16th Chinatown Business Association Ghost Festival dinner was held last Friday! The guest of honor was Dr. Lily Neo (fig 1, center), a Member of Parliament for Jalan Besar Group Representation Constituency and she is also the consultant for the Chinatown Business Association. We were also honored to have met Mr Kelvin (fig 2, right), a director from Urban Redevelopment Authority.
Although Moutai is in severe shortage globally, on this special occasion the Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was still able to sponsor a bottle of year 2016 Moutai and a bottle of year 2019 for the auction. The host enthusiastically auctioned the two bottles of Moutai as the premium alcohol and everyone was so hyped up! The final deal was at SGD1299 (RMB ¥ 6624) for year 2016 Moutai and SGD1099 (RMB ¥ 5604) for year 2019 Moutai!
