The World Baijiu (white spirits) Day came about in the year of 2015 by an Australian blogger, Jim Boyce. The pronunciation of 89 in Mandarin sounds like white spirits (bai-jiu) thus the date was set on August 9th. Since then, it has been a good five years. In this wonderful August, we are going to celebrate The World Baijiu Day with Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd! Last Friday night, our partner The Dragon Chamber celebrated The 5th World White Spirits (baijiu) Day with the China baijiu (white spirits) we had provided. Our China baijiu became the highlight of the night! Whether you choose to chuck it down or slowly savor in a cocktail, we saw happy faces everywhere as long as they have our China baijiu in their hands.
