Business China Fundraising Golf Tournament & Dinner 2024

On August 23, 2024, the Business China Fundraising Golf Tournament & Dinner 2024 was held at the Singapore Island Country Club. Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was invited as a sponsor to support this grand event.

Daytime – Golf Tournament

The friendship tournament kicked off in the morning, attracting numerous elite participants.

Despite encountering rain during the event, the participants maintained their high spirits and fully engaged in the activities.

In a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, golfers used the sport as a medium to exchange skills and deepen friendships.

Before the fundraising dinner officially began, the cocktail booth created by Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd became the focal point.

It showcased the possibilities of integrating baijiu with fresh elements in a cocktail format while providing a warm and elegant atmosphere for guests to continue networking and strengthening friendships after the tournament.

During the dinner, Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, Chairman of Business China, delivered a speech. Mr. Charles Oon, Chairman of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, attended alongside distinguished guests, including Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Mr. Gan Kim Yong, Speaker of Parliament Mr. Tan Chuan-Jin, Dr. Zhou Zhao cheng, Chief Strategy Officer of Haidilao International Holding, and Mr. He Zhi xuan, President of Commercial China.

The 4th “Chan Soo Sen Cup” Racial Harmony Day Graphic Xiangqi Tournament

On August 3, 2024, the 4th “Chan Soo Sen Cup” Racial Harmony Day Graphic Xiangqi Tournament, sponsored by the Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd and organized by the Singapore Xiangqi General Association and the Tung Ann District Guild, was held in the auditorium of the Tung Ann District Guild. The event brought together Xiangqi enthusiasts and professional players from various regions to compete and exchange skills.

The players were full of enthusiasm, and the atmosphere in the competition hall was tense yet friendly. On the scene, the players were deeply focused, with every move carefully considered. Amidst the intense battles, the players demonstrated exceptional chess skills and remarkable mental fortitude. Each clever layout and intricate trap kept the audience on the edge of their seats. On the chessboard, red and black pieces alternated, with the momentum shifting constantly between offense and defense. Some players found opportunities in dire situations to turn the tables, while others advanced steadily, step by step, toward victory.

After several rounds of intense competition, the champions, runners-up, and third-place winners were finally determined. Zhang Zhongyi emerged as the champion and also won the Non-Chinese Open Group Award. Wu Deshun received the Senior Award, while Wang Kaili won the U12 Girls’ Award.

The cup sponsor Chan Soo Sen, event sponsor Charles Oon, and association president Lin Guan Hao personally attended the event to present the awards. 2024 Singapore International Cultural Festival ‘Moutai Cup’ Wushu Competition

Organized by the Singapore Youth Cultural Arts Centre and co-organized by the Singapore Wushu Home and the Singapore International Martial Arts Cultural Exchange Centre, the 6th Singapore International Cultural Festival “Moutai Cup” Wushu Competition was successfully held at the Singapore Sports School on July 27. This event, titled sponsored by Moutai under the Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, attracted over 1,300 participants and spectators from countries and regions including China, Hong Kong (China), Germany, Belgium, Nepal, India, Oman, and Myanmar, becoming an unforgettable cultural festival.

The competition gathered participants and spectators from over 60 countries and regions, fully showcasing the global appeal of Wushu as a cultural art form. These participants not only demonstrated the unique characteristics of martial arts from their respective countries and regions but also enhanced mutual understanding and respect through exchange and interaction. Singapore, as the host, once again proved its significant role in cultural exchange and dissemination.

At the competition, participants showcased their skills across various Wushu styles. From Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi to Southern Fist and Long Fist, each performance was a blend of power and grace. The audience was deeply impressed by the participants’ exquisite techniques and martial spirit, with applause and cheers echoing throughout the venue. Particularly in the group events, the participants’ coordinated efforts and synchronized movements earned widespread acclaim.

This competition served not only as a platform for martial arts enthusiasts to compete but also as a vital bridge for cultural exchange between different countries and regions.
