Sponsored by Moutai’s Singapore distributor, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd , and jointly organized by Singapore Xiangqi General Association and Bishan Community Club, the 2nd “Chan Soo Sen Cup” Racial Harmony Day Graphic Xiangqi Tournament came to an end on 31 July. Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was proud to sponsor this event to promote Chinese culture. It was a wonderful tournament a continuous promotion of Chinese traditional culture. This is a perfect presentation of the fusion of Chinese national treasure “Xiangqi and Baijiu”.

Organized by Moutai’s Singapore distributor——Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, the “Moutai Buskers Concert” kicked off on 27 July. The concert featured 6 groups of street performers, and the atmosphere was full of heartwarming songs and meaningful experiences. In the future, the distributor of Guizhou Moutai, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd , will continue to work hard on building a “Moutai culture”.

In line with the traditional virtue of “caring for the elderly”, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd joined hands with China Moutai to organize a series of charity events. Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd , Moutai’s Singapore distributor, paid a special visit to Kheng Chiu Happy Lodge on July 18 to deliver warm gifts to the elderly. There were plenty of supplies and genuine care. Every staff member on the site was energized by the smiles on the faces of the elderly and their happy and healthy lives.

In line with the traditional virtue of “caring for the elderly”, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd joined hands with China Moutai to organize a series of charity events. In the afternoon of the 17th, Singapore’s Moutai distributor, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Singapore, prepared a special event for the elderly. As a special token of appreciation for the poor elderly living alone in Chinatown area, they prepared cereals, biscuits, durian, oranges and boxed meals and drinks. The elderly also expressed their happiness and gratitude.

To celebrate Father’s Day with an awesome day of fun activities for Dad and the whole family, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd and Singapore Mountai has organised a kite flying event at Marina Barrage. Besides rediscovering the joy of kite flying, this activity also provided an opportunity to let the child and the father open their hearts, spend time together and dedicate a different kind of love to the father.

There are 3 groups of families that participated in the event. The balmy morning breeze marked the start of the day. Every kites are unique and meaningful as they are the art work of both the father and child.

The father acted as “launcher” holding the kite and the son was the “flier” flying the kite. Many hands made the work light. The kites soared in the blue sky. There’s nothing better than the cool breeze beating on their faces while they run through an open field flying a kite.

Staying involved with the family can help develop stronger bonds and foster warmth, protection and love, as well as emotions of belonging. After that, the families gathered for a picnic, the perfect ending to the joyous day.

To encourage and awaken the adventurous spirit, Singapore Moutai has sponsored contestant, Xu Lei who wanted to conquer Mount Rinjani, Indonesia under the competition Rinjani 100 Ultra.

Rinjani 100 Ultra 2022 has 5 categories, namely the 162km, 11km, 75km, 36km and 27km run. Xu Lei participated in the 75km run, starting from Belanting Beach to Rinjani Summit, then climbed up steep and rough terrain, finally finishing at the Village of Sembalun.

Rinjani 100 Ultra 2022 opened 5 categories, namely the 162km, 119km, 75km, 36km and 27km run. Xu Lei participated in the 75km run, started from Belanting Beach to Rinjani Summit, then climbed up step and rough terrain, finished at the Village of Sembalun.

During the journey, Xu Lei crossed gnarled exposed roots, had his feet sink into loose scree, and scrambled over piles of rocks as he made his way into thinner and thinner air. Especially on loose volcanic ash, it can feel like every step forward took him a step back.

After a few hours, he finally did it. He conquered the beast, he got to the top of Mount Rinjani, 3726m (12224 ft), his pure will brought him there. The whole world was lying to his feet. The crater views at the summit are more than worth it, especially when they signal the start of a long, wonderful descent.

Xu Lei’s journey taught us to keep our goals in sight, don’t let quitting be an option and fight!

The Dragon Boat Festival is our Chinese important traditional festival. In order to welcome the arrival of the Dragon Boat Festival and promote traditional Chinese culture, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd and Moutai has organized a dumpling making session. More than 10 people from different age groups gathered together to make dumplings.

Many people present had eaten rice dumplings, but most of them made zongzi for the first time. Organiser has invited experienced chef to guide them. Folding zong leaves, filling glutinous rice, filling ingredients, wrapping leaves and tying zong thread. In a short while, lovely rice dumplings were born. There are various types of wrapped rice dumplings, including triangular, quadrangular, and shapeless rice dumplings. Looking at the rice dumplings of different shapes, there was constant laughter at the scene.

By making rice dumplings by themselves, everyone can feel the connotation of traditional Chinese festivals more truly ! In such a relaxed way, further exercise the people, especially youngster’s hands-on ability.

One of the youngster who participated in making rice dumplings said that through this kind of activity, they not only inherited the traditional skills, but also felt the strong festive atmosphere, which is very meaningful.

This activity made everyone understand and learn the methods and techniques of making zongzi in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. It arouses everyone’s attention and interest in traditional festivals. This event vigorously promoted the excellent traditional culture of the nation and everyone enjoyed the process of making rice dumplings.
