In the Moutai Impression Museum, there is a wall that depicts the entire production process of Moutai baijiu. In the glass display cabinets,  clay was used to prepare a series of realistic characters that allow visitors to understand the entire production process better.

Travel beyond the hills and venture as far as possible has always been the dream of the distillers. About 102 years ago, Moutai stepped out of the country for the first time and went to the American city of San Francisco to participate in the Panama-Pacific International Exposition (PPIE). The Moutai participants were hoping to get the nod but no one showed any interest in Moutai. The tale of the “broken Moutai bottle” eventually won the world’s attention.

 

This new building is known as the Moutai impression museum. Situated in Guiyang, it was created by the Moutai Group. It is a Moutai cultural centre with full dimensional experiences. By far it is the world’s largest Moutai pavilion not including the actual Moutai production factory area which is commonly known as the “cultural city of the spirit of China “. Now you able to understand and experience the Moutai culture here in Guiyang without travelling to the Moutai town.

 

Mr Ji Keliang, a famous baijiu expert and Mr Charles Oon have known each other for many years. In this annual Moutai Overseas Distributors Conference the two Moutai enthusiasts who have each spent their lives dedicated to Moutai in their own unique way met each other again. The Guizhou Business Association is coming soon. The Chinese Baijiu Association (Singapore) sponsored Moutai baijiu to celebrate this good event. The activities are led by Deputy Minister of United Front Work Department Mr Wang (FIG. 1 right) and the President of the of the Nanyang Technological University, Guizhou University, and the leader of the University of Science and Technology of Guizhou University and the Vice-Mayor of Kaili city. The overseas distributors come from 66 countries and have 104 representatives attending this Moutai overseas distributors conference. They have gathered in Moutai town during the harvest season. The aromatic fragrance revolved around the tables; this thousands of centuries-old hometown which hide the beautiful secret of the Moutai baijiu awaits to show its charm to the overseas distributors. Mr Charles Oon shook hands and raised his glass to propose a toast to the leaders of Moutai, hoping for good cooperation between the two sides.
