Baijiu DIY Center

We visited Chateau Qiankun baijiu DIY center, under the guidance of a sommelier from Luzhou Laojiao. We got hands on experience like blending a cup of baijiu according to our own tastes. We also learn about the art of baijiu tasting as well. The DIY classroom was bright and spacious, decorated like a traditional Chinese styled chemistry lab. Our sommelier was an elegant classical beauty in a white cotton Chinese gown. She taught us the four important steps of  “calm, observe, smell and taste” in the art of baijiu tasting. By following the steps, it felt like we had travelled back to the most prosperous era of the Chinese traditional culture.
