 Introduction 

The 7th Singapore International Cultural Festival “Moutai Cup” Wushu Elite Competition was recently held at the Singapore Sports School. Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was honored to be a sponsor, marking our third consecutive year supporting this prestigious event.

Opening Ceremony

The event was held at the Singapore Sports School with great fanfare. As majestic music played, athletes from various countries entered the arena one after another, their steps firm and their spirits high, showcasing the elegance and confidence of the martial arts athletes.

Oath-taking and Opening Performance

At the solemn opening ceremony, athlete representatives took an oath, solemnly pledging to compete in a spirit of fairness, justice, and unity. The opening performance then began with a high-level martial arts display, featuring swords, spears, and powerful punches and kicks, earning applause from the audience.

Competitors of Various Ages

This year’s competition attracted participants of all ages, from children as young as a few years old to teenagers and adults. Participants, dressed in colorful and intricately designed martial arts uniforms, showcased a diverse and vibrant cultural scene.

Pre-Match Preparations

Inside and outside the competition venue, athletes were warming up and preparing with all their might, rehearsing their movements and adjusting their breathing and conditioning. Parents were also on the sidelines, offering their children encouragement and support.

Athletes’ Moments of Elegance 

During the competition, the athletes’ movements were sharp and powerful, their postures nimble and upright. Whether it was the forceful punches or the swift kicks, they all showcased the power and beauty of martial arts. The audience erupted in applause and cheers.

Children’s Group 

In the children’s group, the young competitors were full of energy, delivering powerful punches and displaying perseverance and focus beyond their years. Despite their youthful figures, they radiated the vibrant vitality of martial arts.

Youth and Adult Groups 

The competition in both the youth and adult groups was equally exciting. The youth group displayed youthful energy and fighting spirit, while the adult group excelled in stability and strength. The competitions at different stages together demonstrated the profound heritage of martial arts.

Chang Quan 

As a traditional martial art, Changquan attracted considerable attention on the field. The competitors’ graceful and elegant movements, their rises and falls imbued with vigor and power, fully demonstrating the unique charm of martial arts, which combines form and spirit.

Team Competition Performances

The team competition captivated the audience with its magnificent performance. The coordinated movements and flexible formations showcased the charm of teamwork and collective strength, adding a vibrant touch to the event.

Awards Ceremony and Group Photo 

After fierce competition, the winners of each category were finally announced. The winning athletes and their teams took the stage, medals in hand, smiling broadly as they posed for a group photo. This moment was not only a moment of honor, but also brought the competition to a successful conclusion.

The evening began with distinguished guests signing the backdrop wall, taking commemorative photos, and visiting the specially curated Moutai showcase area, where they experienced the unique charm of China’s national liquor. It was a moment where culture and fine spirits intertwined, creating warm and lasting memories.

Moutai Cocktail Reception 

During the dinner, we proudly presented the Moutai Cocktail Reception. With Moutai as the foundation, innovative bartending techniques were used to craft cocktails of layered flavors and distinctive character. Guests delighted in a one-of-a-kind tasting experience, making their moments of togetherness even more memorable.

Multicultural Performances 

As the dinner unfolded, the stage came alive with a series of performances—including Malay, Indian, Chinese ethnic dances, and martial arts displays. The dynamic energy and rhythm highlighted the beauty of multiculturalism. Moutai became the toast that united the evening, reflecting the harmony between diverse arts and fine liquor.

Sichuan Opera “Face Changing” Amazed All 

A special highlight of the evening was the Sichuan Opera Face-Changing performance by artists from China. With breathtaking speed and artistry, the traditional performance mesmerized the audience, showcasing the richness of Chinese cultural heritage in harmony with the prestige of Moutai.

Speeches & Honors 

The event featured opening addresses by Mr. Teng Tengda, Chairman of the 2025 Singapore International Cultural Festival Committee (Pic 1), and Mr. Hu Gang, Chairman of the Singapore Youth Cultural & Arts Centre (Pic 2).
During the evening, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was awarded the “Ambassador of Love Award”, presented by Myanmar Ambassador U Zaw Min Thein (Pic 4, left), in recognition of our continuous efforts in cultural exchange and philanthropy.

Feitian Moutai as a Bridge of Friendship 

Guests were invited to savor 53% Feitian Moutai, specially prepared for the evening. Attendees included Singaporean entrepreneurs and esteemed guests from BRI countries, creating valuable opportunities for networking and cultural exchange. Moutai became a bridge of culture and friendship, leaving a lasting mark on this remarkable night.
