The 1st Lion City Guojiao 1573 Fishing Tournament has successfully come to an end on 19 January 2019. The responses were overwhelming and all the participants came well-prepared to snag the champion title. After several hours of tight competition among the anglers, the top three winners were finally revealed.Since the beginning of time, humans are charmed by the sea and fishing has evolved into many ways and yet has it has remain unchanged in many other aspects. The sport is uniquely different from the rest as every fishing experience varies and it can be anything from a relaxing, to a very intense one.
Ancient Chinese anglers saw fishing as a literature piece of art. With the beautiful scenery and the wellness to the mind and body. Many have come out with magnificent poems and idioms that were passed on from generation to generation. These precious cultural heritages not only fulfill the spirit of the angler, but also edify their feelings.
