The Chingay Parade returns grander than before for a uniquely Singapore multicultural extravaganza this year. Without a doubt, the Chingay Parade is one of the most important annual events in Singapore. This year’s Chingay Parade has many unprecedented activities.
The theme for Chingay 2018 is “ cultural funtasy”, spectators are asked to bring along their smartphones for interactive activities. A free carnival will be held for the first time, with various performances, games and food at the Singapore Flyer area as well. A skating group will perform year’s parade for the first time.

The parade, a ticketed event, will begin at the F1 Pit Building, wind past the Singapore Flyer, head towards Raffles Avenue and then end at the Marina Bay floating platform.

No more final calls for boarding

“Silent Airport” trend is now in Singapore! To make Changi a more pleasant and quiet airport,Changi Airport Group (CAG) announced last month, From Jan 1, there will no longer be final call announcements for passengers to head to their boarding gates. Airlines will also stop paging for specific passengers. Only essential announcements will be made including those pertaining to emergencies, lost and found children and passports, flight delays, gate and belt changes.
So if you do not want to miss your flight, you have to watch the timings carefully. Plan ahead for a stress-free journey.

Gong Cha is back!

The first comeback of Gong Cha many signature outlet opens today at the Paya Lebar SingPost Centre. A crowd is already formed outside the outlet even before the opening.

The new Gong Cha outlet has 33 dine in seats. Available are most of its previous offerings, such as milk-based teas and fruit-infused green teas (from $2.20 a cup). Gong Cha also introduces new items on the drinks menu include five smoothie options (from $4.50 to $5.90) in flavours such as mango, purple sweet potato and matcha. There are also three new types of tea latte (from $4.30 a cup), including brown sugar fresh milk oolong and strawberry popcorn fresh milk tea.


This outlet also serves food items such as chicken pie ($3.90), muffins in various flavours including blueberry, chocolate and cranberry ($3.90 each), mini chocolate lava cakes ($2.50 each) and croissants with fillings such as tuna and egg ($3.90 each).
